PST436/02: No timetable has been entered into IS. - Prerequisites
- The seminar is prepared for students of master degree study of psychology and psychotherapy and is finished with a credit. Students will get a basic information about theoretical foundations of Gestalt therapy. The main focus of the seminar is to enable the possibility to get to know this psychotherapeutic school by an experiential form a weekend workshop. The seminar is aimed for students who are interested in psychotherapy and willing to self-exploration. The seminar is intended for a limited number of students.

- Course objectives
- After succesful graduation or the course a student will be able to:
understand basic theoretical terms of GT (Gestalt therapy); know basic information about history and current form of GT; orientate him/herself in basic GT literature; interpret own experience and observable phenomenons by basic GT terminology; use gained information about GT for understanding and own critical reflection of one GT text; - Syllabus

- phenomenological method, styles of contact
- process of contact, unfinished and fixed gestalt
- field theory, theory of self
- dialogical relationship, transference and countertransference
- creativity, imagination and metaphors, work with dreams

- paradoxical theory of change, polarities
