Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to inform students about criteria for student internship On successful completion of the course student finds an organization for the internship, spends 80 hours working there and collectng data for the output paper while operating according to the rules for internship analyze the organization from the gender perspective formalize the internship by a signed the agreement between FSS and the organization writes analytical research paper utilizing the data from the internship as well as theoretical and methodological skills from other GEN specialization courses. The main goal is to complete the internship and write an analytical report from it. Students get repetitive feedback on draft versions of the report in order to cultivate their analytical skills.
Learning outcomes
Students learn organizational skills in a relevant organization, practise analytical work based on their fieldwork and learn to utilize fieldwork data and their conceptualisation and methodological framing gainded in other GEN specialization courses.
