- Course objectives
- This course provides students with a basic understanding of the energy sector's organizational and regulatory framework in the European Union and explores the interactions of EU energy law with other areas of EU law. This course focuses on the governance of the Energy Union, energy market liberalization, the main elements of the way the EU ensures security and reliability of its energy supply, and the EU's effort to decarbonize its energy sector.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to utilize knowledge gained in principles of regulation related to energy production, transmission and distribution in their future studies.
