- Course objectives
- This course enables students of public and social policy and social work to understand the processes that affect the position and actions of individuals in contemporary societies. Its aim is to strengthen knowledge, skills and abilities of students who should be able at the end of the course to identify, analyze and understand current public and social problems and risky behavior of different individuals and groups through existing sociological theories and different (paradigmatic) approaches.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the student will be able to analyze and understand all social processes and actions of individuals and groups, that he encounter as a graduate in the everyday practice.

- Individual themes are presented at lecturea where ppt presentations are used and particular topics presented in these lectures and read in obligatory literature discussed at group seminars.

- The successfully completion of the course is conditional on passing continuous tests, the final test and completion of all seminar tasks.
