- Course objectives
- 1) To enable the direct connection of theoretical and methodical preparation of the student's diploma thesis with the solution of practical problems in the field of human resources development and management in selected employers' organizations, which will be used in preparing and creating the empirical part of the diploma thesis. / To enable the direct connection of theoretical and methodical preparation of the student's diploma thesis with the solution of practical problems in organizations and institutions of the public, non-profit sector, which will be used in the preparation and creation of the empirical part of the diploma thesis. 2) To acquaint students with the practical experience of experts in the field of human resources development and management. / To acquaint students with the practical experience of experts from public sector organizations and institutions. 3) To provide students with methodological support in connecting practical problems / topics with theoretical knowledge. 4) To enable students to establish contact with future employers of graduates of the field.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, students will be able to: - apply the theoretical knowledge acquired so far in the field of human resources development and management / in the field of public and social policy in practical situations in organizations; - identify and analyze the conditions of personnel work and practical problems of current practice of human resources development and management in organizations, and critically reflect on them with regard to their theoretical explanation / identify and analyze practical problems in organizations and institutions of the public and non-profit sector, and propose solutions . - present and argue your suggestions, receive and give feedback
- Syllabus
- Implementation of organizational and process analysis: the student develops a specific topic for a specific organization, collects and processes data for his/her research within the framework of the internship in the thesis. If the internship is not linked to the thesis, the student is interested in the analytical activities that the organisation does (e.g. HR analytics, satisfaction surveys, engagement surveys, needs analysis, background analysis for strategic planning within the departments of public administration organisations, etc.). The student will attend mandatory seminars.
