- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to build a theoretical and practical basis for working with behavioral disorders in the school context. In the lectures, we will focus on the current state of care for children and adolescents in our country and abroad. Next, we will discuss diagnostic methods and the possibilities of therapeutic work with children and adolescents with behavioral disorders. Topics will be presented on specific case studies and supplemented with theoretical inputs. Work will also be done in short exercises and discussion groups. Students are expected to actively participate in work groups, discussions and presentations of their seminar work.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to recognize what types of behavioral disorders and clients most often appear in the clinic of a school psychologist or a psychologist in an educational care center.
