To be able to get into the course, students must send an application and request for approval of their participation. We are expecting highly motivated individuals with some experience with AV media (e.g. completed courses ZURb1115 and/or ZURb1116.

Course objectives
The course will be carried as a one week long intensive workshop (bootcamp). Its aim is to introduce the ropes of existing withing the exosystem of editorial house. Students will spend the whole week trying to function as reporters and moderators, they will prepare live broadcast and will broadcast it every evening. The course is supervised by experienced professionals.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will: - be able to function in the editorial office - have practical knowledge such as how to do live feed, how to read news, how to prepare news etc. - be able to handle stress of the journalistic job
Syllabus
  • Work competences in the editorial office: - 1 editor in chief - 1-2 anchormans, deputy heads, monitoring actual situation from news agencies - the rest of the participants will be redactors Components of the broadcasted session: - headline - most important theme of the day, story included (live feed, infographic or interview can be included) - student's theme - story or lvie feed - light topic - interesting story - 2-3 read news with background = the whole relation - around 10-12 minutes, fixed start at 17:00, broadcasting via FAcebook Job harmonogram: Monday - first day, roles in the office, first editorial meeting, plan for the week (themes etc.) Tuesda-Friday - editorial meetings at 9:30, 11:30 and 14:30; planing and evaluating Friday - after the last broadcast evaluation of the whole course/bootcamp
