Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce a wide range of environmental issues. Experts from a range of fields and departments are invited to lecture, and the individual semesters of the course are thematically focused.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student is able to: - describe and classify the specific messages of a thematic block; - analyse and integrate knowledge from a wide range of environmental topics;

  • The Alumni Block lecture series is held every two weeks.
  • A list of current speakers is published through IS study materials and in its interactive curriculum. All important additions and materials are also posted there during the course.

Teaching methods
Graduates of the field who cannot attend regular courses, and especially experts from practice, take turns in the course. They will share with the students their daily experiences in solving environmental problems. The alumni block is structured internally so that the individual presentations are grouped into broader logical units according to their content.
