- The aim of the course is to present students an introduction to psychotherapy in a way of training practical skills of exploring processes of experiencing, knowing and acting. Skill training is based on the concept of therapy based on common factors (Bailey, Ogles, 2023) and helping skills (Hill, 2020).
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to: - understand to therapy based on common factors - understand to situations that lead to the negative effects of therapy and ruptures in the therapeutic relationship - apply the basic skills of exloration of processes of experiencing, knowing and acting - be aware of one's current skills as well as limits in the context of the exploration skills training

- 01. "What have different psychotherapeutic approaches in common?" Introductory lecture by prof. Tomáš Řiháček 02. Therapeutic relationship - the strongest common factor; Self Awareness as a source of self -knowledge and the ability of a therapist to co -create a therapeutic relationship 03. Training seminar - How to take care of a safe environment 04. Attending, Listening and Observing Skills 05. Training seminar - Minicontracting, support delivering 06. Skills for Exploring Thoughts and Narratives 07. Training seminar - Exploration of processes of understanding 08. Skills for Exploring Feelings 09.
