Course objectives
The course introduces the most important psychological theories related to leadership and their application to practice. The course emphasizes the use of the theories in I/O psychological counseling. The course provides students with the basic knowledge that is necessary for the assessment, support and development of the leadership in teams and organizations.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- describe and explain the factors of leadership effectivity;
- make a reasoned decision about an appropriateness of leadership approach in different situations;
- plan the development of leaders.

Teaching methods
Model situation; Role playing; Group presentation; Class discussion
Assessment methods
Students acquire 70% of the points during the semester for individual and group tasks, for participating in seminars and activities at seminars and 30% points from the final test. Students need to obtain at least 30% points for each task and at least 60% points from the maximum of 100 points to pass the course.
