Course objectives
The goal of the course is to improve the competences in the theoretical reflection of the key concepts in the theory of the welfare state. To use the selected concept of welfare state theory (see below) for the reflection of the topic of the disertation thesis, or to the reflection of the theoretical questions that are close to the topic of the thesis.

Teaching methods
Elaborate a paper of about 20 pages where the selected concept of welfare state theory is reflected in the theoretical frame of the thesis. The form is the article for a scientific journal. I tis recommended that the paper would be published and included into the thesis.
Assessment methods
Submitting the paper, evaluation and recognition by the teacher (consistency in definition of the goal, method, theoretical arguments, conclusions). Exam is composed form two parts: A defending the paper or publication in scientific journal B discussion of the selected thoretical concepts
