Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the systems approach. It is a course that offers students not only an understanding of the concepts and underpinnings of this approach but also an opportunity to experience systemic and dialogic practice first-hand.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:
- identify and summarize the important features of the systems approach;
- identify and describe the principles of dialogical practice;
- provide feedback;
- lead a practice consultation;
- understand the principles of reflection;
- apply psychological principles to a practical problem;
- participate in a reflective team;
