Course objectives
Goal of the course is the understanding of principal economic policies of the European Union, having impact on the domestic business and international trade.
Learning outcomes
The graduate of the course is capable to assess the application of competition law of the EU and impact of agricultural and environmental policies on business. He recognises consequences of the single currency and its absence in Czechia and the features of EU budget.

Teaching methods
Teaching will be carried out: Frontal teaching method with the personal participation of the student in the faculty building when an initial mandatory consultation will take place including the definition of the issues and systematics, key concepts and institutes, assignment of the course completion. Synchronous form through three continuous mandatory group consultations implemented in the MS Teams environment, the following methods will be implemented (to be selected according to the reality): group and cooperative learning, critical thinking, project-based learning, problem solving from practice, brainstorming, emphasis will be placed on providing feedback, not frontal teaching Asynchronous form (individual guided self-study) from the provided materials in the IS information system and/or textbooks (study texts, videos, podcasts, audio-visual presentations and other interactive materials)

Analysis of specified topic and its discussion.
