- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce students to current trends in the theory and philosophy of law. Students will gain an overview of contemporary literature. Much emphasis will be given to the analysis of the methodology used in this literature.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: a) to orientate oneself in the contemporary literature on the theory and philosophy of law (And by that I mean the truly contemporary literature.) b) understand the scientific methodology used in this literature c) write his/her own text of a similar type
- Syllabus
- 1) selection of appropriate literature (scientific articles, chapters from monographs) 2) reading assignment 3) analysis of the reading 4) drafting own texts
