- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge acquired in the previous studies in the field of proper legal responsibility and administrative punishment and eventually to provide the student with the necessary consultation to be able to write a part of the dissertation dealing with the proper criminal aspects of its focus. Furthermore, the aim is to acquire such knowledge and understanding as will enable the dissertation to include a section on the proper legal responsibility and administrative punishment or that student regard as a useful for his or her profesional orientation.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will have a detailed knowledge of the material necessary for further study and research in the field of his/her dissertation and will be able to:
- Identify areas of dissertation focus that have overlap into the realm of administrative punishment;
- Identify areas in his/her dissertation that intersect with administrative punishment;
- identify and describe current domestic and international trends in the field of the dissertation;
- prepare a comprehensive section of the dissertation evaluating the sphere of administrative liability and administrative punishment in relation to the focus of the thesis;
- elaborate a comprehensive part of the dissertation where there is a relationship between administrative punishment and correct legal responsibility and the topic of the thesis. - Syllabus
- The specific focus of the course may vary depending on the topic of the dissertation or the student's interest. Therefore, the specific content will always be specified by mutual agreement between the teacher and the student so that the content framework is directed either to the writing of a quality part of the dissertation in the parts dealing with administrative punishment and the application of correct legal responsibility, or possibly to the acquisition of higher and more comprehensive knowledge of the examined area of administrative punishment. The assessment of performance is the responsibility of the tutor who will award the mark. However, it is expected that the student will consult the material with other representatives of the disciplines and areas concerned. - Teaching methods
- The basic teaching method is individual consultations using relevant literature.
- Assessment methods
- Evaluation based on the fulfilment of pre-agreed content. Usually, it will be the elaboration of a comprehensive part of the dissertation dealing with the material under study. An independent elaboration of a seminar paper or a professional article, as well as an oral debate on one of the points of legal regulation and application practice of administrative punishment are not excluded.
