Prerequisites
The students are expected to be at intermediate level ( secondary school competence) of Russian in speaking and writing, especially in understanding the Russian common text and its key ideas and in providing the ability to talk about current and common topics.

Syllabus
  • (Russian for Lawyers respects the requirements set up for foreign language studies for lawyers at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University) - Russian for Lawyers focuses on the study of necessary specific lexis ( with the extension to the lexis of topical political news in the CR and the RF, as well as to the lexis of the documents referring to their legal character) and guided discussion in the following fields and topics: - the History of State and Law - Constitutional and Civil Law - Business Law and the Issues of National Economy - Employment Law and Social Security Law - Environmental Law and Land Law - Administrative and Finance Law - Criminal Law - International and European Law.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Zkouška z Jazyka I - Ruský jazyk pro právníky - je zařazena po 4. semestru studia. Skládá se z písemné a ústní části. Předpokladem vykonání ústní části zkoušky je úspěšné složení její písemné části.
