Course objectives
The purpose of this course is to provide students with details on the legal regulation of the internal market and different common policies (competition, tax law, consumer protection, external trade relations etc.), including second and third EU pillars. Particular attention is paid to the constitutional development (EU Constitutional Treaty).
Syllabus
  • Internal Market - foundations, economic and monetary union, competition law, state subsidies, tax law, external trade relations of the EC (common commercial policy), consumer protection, second pillar of EU, Area of Freedom, Security and Justice, Schengen acquis and cooperation in police and criminal matters (third pillar) particularities of the Czech membership EU Constitutional treaty - developments

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Účast na cvičeních je povinná. Zkouška má dvě části - písemnou a ústní. Je-li výsledek písemné části zkoušky výborný (A) nebo nevyhovující (F), ústní část se již nekoná.
