- Course objectives
- The course aims to provide students with a basic conceptual understanding of the methods, techniques and legal principles regarding European Union law and the European union itself. At the end of this course, students should be able to understand and be able to explain the development of the European union, to delineate the major differences among Euroepan Union and European Communities, to explain the institutional law, the relation of the EU law to national laws, the substantial law (internal market regulation, four freedoms) and the recent devepolemment (the Lisbon Treaty).

- Assessment methods
- Written examination: 40 minutes (possible use of EC and EU Treaties) Parts: (1) test (10 x 4 questions) (2) model case Evaluation: maximum 20 points (10+10), successful completion if at least 12 points are achieved. Grades assigned to successful students according to ECTS standard (A, B, C, D, E)
