Course objectives
This course offers a comprehensive review of development of economic thinking up to the end of the 19th century, with emphasis on the process of the rise and development of economic thought. The aim of this subject is to form basic prerequisites for understanding the basic context of development of economic thought, understanding the major milestones as the basis for grasping the changes in economic theory which took place in the 20th century. Students will become acquaint with fundamental economic terms and theories in the context of their historical origin.
