- Course objectives
- The main aim of this course is to improve the knowledge of practice International Business law, to learn more about the special problems of International Business. At the end of this course, students should be able to: do the legal research,present results of legal research, write simple international contracts (sales contract, contract for work), comment international contracts and negotiate between parties with intent to create specific contract.
- Syllabus
- 1. Introduction to the course (expectations of students, mapping their skills), research skills; 2. General information about International Business Transactions, Risks of International Transactions and their Prevention; 3. Sales contract – parts of a contract, risks, prevention, comments to the real contracts; 4. Contract for work – parts of a contract, risks, prevention, writing the real contract; 5. Special clauses in international trade - The Payment Methods of International Trade Transactions (Miscellaneous Methods of Financing): Open Account, Documentary Credit, Documentary Collection, Factoring, Forfeiting, Bank Guarantee, Currency Clause, Price Clause; 6. Negotiation of international contract
