- Course objectives
- General and special part of criminology, the concept, object, content, methodology and methods of criminology, real and latent crime, the offender personality, victimology, criminological forecasting, various types of crime in terms of their perpetrators, the causes and prevention of the TC. The main objective of the course for students is: to obtain an overview of criminology as a scientific discipline, to focus on criminology statistics and methods of work, to acquire knowledge of the main causes and prevention of various types of crime, criminological proactively develop recommendations for both theory and practice.

- Syllabus
- The concept and the subject of criminology. Methodology and methods of criminology as a science. Status, structure and dynamics of crime, latent crime, crime statistics. Personality of the offender. A crime victim. Recidivism. Juvenile delinquency and prekriminalita. Economic and property crime. Alcohol and non-alcohol drug addiction. Organized crime. Cyber crime. Ethnic crime. Violent and sexual crimes. Women's crime. Fundamentals of Probation and post-penitencial care. Penology.

- Lectures in general part of criminology in the scope of one hour in week, seminar exercises in special part of criminology in the scope of one our in week. Solve of concret cases from practice, especially identification of causality and prevention. Lectures of practical experts with discussion. Excursion in the prison in Kurim
- Assessment methods
- Course successfully colloquium, provided seminars and a visit to an interview given topic. Workshop is conducted practitioners, includes a visit to the prison.
