- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with basic problems of professional ethics of lawyers, its theoretical background and practical applications.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to: - summarize and describe the main principles of professional ethics of lawyers; - identify the problematic situations encountered by lawyers in their practice; - Apply the theoretical knowledge of the professional ethics of lawyers to a particular situation.
- Syllabus
- Lectures: 1) Introduction to professional ethics of lawyers; 2) Professional ethics of lawyers; 3) Professional ethics of judges; 4) Professional ethics of public prosecutors I; 5) Professional ethics of public prosecutors II; 6) Professional ethics of lawyers and media. Seminars: 1) What is the professional ethics of a lawyer and why to deal with it ?; 2) Professional ethics of lawyers I; 3) Professional ethics of lawyers II; 4) Professional Ethics of Judges I; 5) Professional Ethics of Judges II and professional ethics of public prosecutors; 6) Debate over colloquial work.
