Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as to extend the set of theoretical knowledge on the significant legal theoretical and legal philosophical works of outstanding authors and to deepen abilities to master abstract legal concepts and general legal conceptions.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able: - to explain the basic ideas of the chosen legal philosophical work; - to understand selected abstract legal concepts; - to work with hard legal cases; - to characterize selected theoretical approaches in law.
Syllabus
  • Study and analysis of the book by Hans Kelsen Pure Theory of Law. Reasoning and debate on individual parts of the book.
