Course objectives
The Criminal Procedure is aimed on the questions of the science of criminal law and specific requirements of thesis. At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain international justice cooperation in criminal matters, its contemporary progress, European dimension and development trends, European Arrest Warrant, joint investigation teams, Eurojust, OLAF, Europan judicial network, etc., including connection to ratification of Lisbon Treaty. They also should be able to understand and explain the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court, European Court for Human Rights and European Court of Justice focusing on criminal procedure law. Students will be able to work with materials and make deductions based on acquired knowledge of the issues mentioned above.
Learning outcomes
Student gains necessary professional and scientific knowledge overcoming national level of criminal law and procedure in deeper sense of word. Learns to work with international sources that can be appropriate for de lege ferenda conclusions of dissertation.
