- Course objectives
- The purpose of the course is to provide a detailed survey of diplomatic and consular law, from the position of corresponding State institutions and also persons exercising those functions. The course concentrates on the functions of diplomatic missions and consular offices and to privileges and immunities of the missions and the representatives exercisung their functions. The course is based on Vienna Conventions and practical cases.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be well-oriented in diplomatic and consular law, will know the competences and tasks of both kinds of missions and will also have knowledge about theis privileges and immunities, as well as of those of the representatives.Will be able to interpret and apply both Vienna Conventions (1961, 1963).

- 1. Organs for foreign relations situated on the national territory and those situated outside it.
- 2. Diplomatic relations - diplomatic missions and their functioning.
- 3. Consular offices - their functions.
- 4. Privileges and Immunities for both types of missions.
- 5. Other organs (special missions, permanent missions).
