- Course objectives
- The aim of this subject is to help the doctoral student continue working on his/her project approved within the course DAL3DT03 Doctoral Thesis Project III. The preparation of the thesis is done in five phases (subjects Doctoral Thesis I to V). In this second phase, the doctoral student in close co-operation with his/her supervisor will conduct research needed for answering the research question. Apart from that the student will prepare a chapter (that will amount about 20 % of the final thesis) and present it during the PhD workshop in order to gain feedback of his/her peers and members of academic staff.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of this course student will be able to produce academic presentation in the form of a conference paper and present it to his/her peers.

- The actual framework of co-operation between the student and the supervisor will be set by the supervisor.

- The progress of the doctoral student will be monitored and evaluated by the supervisor. Key part of the assessmnet is the presentation of progress during a PhD workshop and presetation of konference paper.
