Course objectives

The aim of the subject is the acquisition of the professional/legal language - Spanish. A prerequisite is the reading of Spanish specialist literature from the range of the studied scientific field in the range of at least 200 pages. The topic is related to the candidate's particular studied specialization. The doctoral student will be able to read a text fluently and with understanding, follow a spoken professional speech with understanding, and talk about issues related to the given field.

Learning outcomes

In the exam, the student proves that s/he is able to read a text fluently and with understanding, follow a spoken professional speech with understanding, and talk about questions related to the given field.

Syllabus

• Individual preparation for the exam and consultation with the examiner.

Teaching methods

Independent/individual study of professional-legal literature related to the topic of the doctoral thesis.

Assessment methods (in Czech)

Písemná část zkoušky má jednu z následujících podob:

1) student předloží rozšířený abstrakt na odborné téma odpovídající žánru (originální text bez citací) v rozsahu 500 až 800 slov o struktuře: 1) téma, 2) současný stav a vymezení jeho nedostatečnosti, 3) metodologie, 4) výsledky, 5) diskuze, 5) bibliografie
2) student předloží teze své dizertační práce nebo její projekt (závisí na fázi studia) – v rozsahu 1000 až 1500 slovo struktuře: 1) téma, vymezení řešené problematiky a základních pojmů, 2) teoretická východiska, 3) shrnutí dosavadního stavu poznání/řešení 4) metodologie, 5) předběžné výsledky, 6) očekávané či finální výsledky, 7) diskuze, 8) bibliografie.
3) student předloží odborný článek, který sám napsal pro publikování v odborném periodiku
4) student předloží potvrzení o tom, že magisterské studium absolvoval v daném jazyce

Ústní část zkoušky má jednu z následujících podob:

1) pohovor se zkoušejícím na dané odborné téma – cca 30 minut
2) student předloží certifikát/potvrzení o přednesení příspěvku v daném jazyce na mezinárodní konferenci
3) student předloží certifikát na úrovni C1 (z obecného nebo odborného jazyka)
4) student předloží potvrzení o tom, že magisterské studium absolvoval v daném jazyce
