- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to introduce to students the basic concepts and problems of personal data protection law.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- orient themselves in the European and Czech legal regulation of personal data protection
- understand the basic principles of personal data protection and apply them
- understand the duties of the data controller and the rights of the data subject and apply them
- understand and apply the rules on cross-border flows of personal data
- analyse and solve practical legal problems of personal data protection - Syllabus
