Course objectives
The aim of this course is to introduce to students the basic concepts and problems of personal data protection law.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- orient themselves in the European and Czech legal regulation of personal data protection
- understand the basic principles of personal data protection and apply them
- understand the duties of the data controller and the rights of the data subject and apply them
- understand and apply the rules on cross-border flows of personal data
- analyse and solve practical legal problems of personal data protection
