Účelem světového hospodářského práva je poskytnutí přehledu mezinárodní právní úpravy hospodářských vztahů mezi státy na světové úrovni (obchod se zbožím a službami, měnová a investiční spolupráce, mezinárodní doprava a spoje, odvětvová spolupráce)
