- Course objectives
- The lectures seek to introduce the basic categories and relevant problems. The methode of explanation:the system-historical overview. The subject of lectures are divided into: a)analysis of the basic terms and categories (natural law, positive law, justice) b)analysis of the contemporary problems of the theory of justice and protection of human rights.
- Syllabus
- Syllabus on legal philosophy: 1.What is legal philosophy? The role of legal philosophy in the system of legal science. 2. What is law? law and moral. 3. Natural law versus positive law. 4."Sein" and "Sollen", normativity and reality of law (Kant,Kelsen) 5.Criticism of legal formalism. 6. What is justice? Law and justice. 7. The philosophical foundation of human rights.
