- Course objectives
- At the end of the course, student should be able to:
- understand basic issues in private legal regulation of ICT
- analyze and solve particular problems of private legal jurisdiction on the internet
- analyze and solve particular problems of electronic contracting
- analyze and solve particular problems of the use of electronic signatures
- analyze and solve particular problems of intellectual property on-line - Syllabus
- 1. introduction, assignment of questionnaires;
- 2. internet jurisdiction;
- 3. electronic signature, electronic documents;
- 4. electronic contracting;
- 5. legal protection of software and webpages;
- 6. ISPs and their responsibility;
- 7. domain names and domain disputes;
- 8. personality protection, data protection;
- 9. specific forms of responsibility - linking, framing, etc.;
- 10. IP protection of multimedia;
- 11. internet as technology market;
- 12. unfair competition on the internet, spamming;
- 13. evaluation of questionnaires
