- Course objectives
- At the end of the course the students will have basic familiarity with English for specific purposes in the field of international trade, especially in the area of international sale contracts and international payment mechanisms. The students will be able to explain the content of ICC International Sale Contract and will be able to fill in the specimen form of this contract according to the given information. They will be able to compare the work and responsibilities of agents, commercial agents and distrubutors, to name various international payment mechanisms and compare their advantages.

- Assessment methods
- The course is ended by examination in the form of a written multiple choice test. To sit for the test the students are required to work actively in the seminars and to hand in a portfolio in electronic form. The test checks the acquisition of terminology (definitions and translation) and understanding the content. The students need to score at least 60% out of 50 points.
