Course objectives
The course focuses on the science of intellectual property rights internationally, by Community, Czech and foreign legal context. The aim of scientific work is the clarification of basic and applied research questions, as compared to theories of legal protection of intellectual property rights and their influence on legislation and case law. The course systematically associated with the doctrine of personal rights and the doctrine of the law against unfair competition. Attention is paid to the development trends, particularly in information and knowledge society, and history of the field. Subject to scientific analysis is not only legislation but also the legal doctrine and international community, foreign and Czech jurisprudence. Methodological basis corresponds to a general legal methodology with particular emphasis on comparative law method. Students are acquainted with the current laws of science knowledge of world intellectual property rights, including the world's scientific testing of the relevant legal concepts, legal elements, etc. On the basis of acquired knowledge to be able to scientifically assess student intellectual property rights and their systems.

  • 4th Enforceability of intellectual property rights in the international, European and Czech context
