- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is basic practical skills and orientation in operating various sources of legal information.
After the successful pass of the course a student should be able to:
- find basic legal information on the Internet
- find laws, regulations and other legal documents using system ASPI
- work with other legal information systems (Codexis, Beck-online, EPIS, Konzultant)
- evaluate a creditibility and validity of the information
- solve basic legal problems using the legal information systems - Syllabus
- Basic steps in ASPI, introduction to the system and to its subsystems.
- Search for black-letter law in ASPI, work with accessory applications of ASPI, solution of model cases.
- Basic orientation in some other information systems (Beck-online, EPIS, Konzultant, Codexis etc.).
- Search for legal information on the internet.

- Ostatní studijní literatura bude studentům poskytnuta prostřednictvím interaktivní osnovy/ all readings will be provided within the interactive syllabus

- Practice in PC room.
- Assessment methods
- Participation at seminars is compulsory – students are solving here particular practical assignments. The course is concluded by a colloquium that is awarded upon completion of a test of theoretical knowledge (successfully managed to gain 20 points from possible 30) and solution of practical assignments. Details are in interactive curricula.
