Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to make possibility for students of the host university to have possibility to obtain deeper knowledge about Slovak legal history, which was closely connected with the Czech legal history. The theme is the development of law in Slovakia after the Munich Agreement to the collapse of the Slovak Republic in 1945 and also the Slovak retribution courts. Lectures will focus on the key legal area as well as contemporary specifics as anti-Semitic legislation, the relationship between the law of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak National Council during the Slovak National Uprising and the czechoslovak exile.

Teaching methods
Lectures and colloquiums for students. The basic method is – lecture with discussion, which is an overview of the development of legislation in real historical context. Lectures will be lectured in the direct interaction between teacher and students. Final colloquiums are an opportunity for individual consultations.
Assessment methods
Seminar paper on a given topic.
