Course objectives
This course aims to provide deeper knowledge of corporate law to students of the bachelor program who already had been introduced to the field of commercial law. The lessons are focused on solving model cases, similar to what students might later experience in practice. After completion of the course, the students should be able to solve these simple cases on their own.

  • 2) The relation between a Corporation and Shareholder, Transfer of Shares
  • 3) Company management, organizational structure
  • 4) Rights and obligations of Corporate Managers, Protection of Investors and Creditors
  • 5) Specific Regulation of Public Limited Company
  • 6) Specific Regulation of Cooperatives
  • 7) Establishment and Dissolution of Corporations
  • 8) Commercial Register

Teaching methods
The course is being taught in the form of lectures organized together into tuition blocks. The lectures also include practical aspects like an interpretation of legal provisions, presentation of case studies and discussion with students on the topics on hand.
