Prerequisites
The prerequisite of this course is the successful completion of the first semester. The subject of the course follows the methodological problems in contemporary legal philosophy.

Course objectives
The course pursues two objectives. The first aim is to explain the basic principles of critical legal thinking. The second goal is to present forms of criticism.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to:
a) criticize the chosen methodological position, it means, the student will be able to identify and justify its strengths and weaknesses;
b) to build their own critical approach to the research issue.
Syllabus
  • a) What is criticism?
  • b) Forms of criticism;
  • c) Basic principles of critical legal thinking.
Teaching methods
theoretical preparation based on given study materials;
class discussion;
Assessment methods
The student is obliged to prepare a professional text for publication in a professional journal.
The research text should be devoted to criticism of selected methodological approaches.
