- Course objectives
- The courses stresses on key aspects of management which are applicable at organisations of public administration. Theoretical knowledge are added of practical examples.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
define pojmy managemetu organizace veřejné správy;
understand and explain classical form of strategic management in organization of public administration; American, British and continental school of management public administration; trends in management of public administration within Czech republic in comparison with the basic global trends in this area;
set up traditional management of public administration, New Public Management model, New Public Service and management methods usable in public organizations
understand the basics of financial, human resource and crisis management in public administration - Syllabus
- •Introduction to public sector Management (definition of public sector management, convergence of public and private sectors management)
- •Characteristics of basic public sector management systems in the world (with emphasize of European public sector management)
- •Personality and activities of manager in public administration organizations
- •Managerial methods usable in public administration organizations
