Course objectives
- to give the essential knowledge in the private law within its broader context and its own system as the base for the keeping of others private law branches (special private laws) - the cognition of the civil law as the general private law and further as the special branche with its special content - tio give the general knowledge in the most inmportant notions, principles and institutes of civil law, tjheir determination, function and practical application
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to understand and explain and to give the practical application of the grounds of private and civil law.

  • • notion, subject-matter, systemic questions of priovate law. Private law as the general civil law and the special private laws. The system of principles of private and civil law. • the persons in juridical sense. Natural persons. Personal status of natural persons incl. protection of personality. Representation. - Legal persons, general characteristics. Typologie of legal persons. Essential overview of european legal persons. • Foírmation of legal persons. Acting iof legal persons. • Transformation of legal persons. Termination of legal persons. • Legal facts. Typologie of legal facts. Legal act - general characteristics. Contract. • Ownership. Co-ownership.vlastnické právo. Iura in re aliena. Trust. • Contract law - the general characteristics. Consumer protection. • Tort law. Quasi-tort law.
