Course objectives
At the end of the course, the students who have succeeded: - have sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge of important subsystem of public administration “territorial self-government” - are able to explain connections and relationships between legal regulation of territorial self-government and general administrative law, as well as the other branches of law - are able to transmit the acquired knowledge to the students in the teaching process.

  • Territorial self-government: - general definition of territorial self-government - distinguishing between territorial and interest-group self-government - organizational and functional model of territorial self-government - external and internal activities of territorial self-government.

Assessment methods
Written thesis of 12-15 pages extent on the theme approved by the guarantor of the subject. The thesis should keep to the recommended literature, practice of the courts and other relevant sources.
