Course objectives
The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge acquired in previous studies in the field of legal regulation of public financial activities and to provide students with the necessary consultations to be able to write a part of the dissertation devoted to financial aspects of its focus. Furthermore, the aim is to acquire such knowledge and knowledge that will allow to add to the dissertation a part devoted to the theory of financial law.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will have detailed knowledge of the materials necessary for further study and research in the field of their dissertation and will be able to:
- identify areas of dissertation focus that overlap into segments of public financial activity;
- identify areas in their dissertation that intersect with the theory of financial law;
- identify and describe current domestic and foreign trends in the field of dissertation work;
- prepare a comprehensive part of the dissertation, where they evaluate the theoretical aspects in relation to the focus of the work;
- to elaborate a comprehensive part of the dissertation, where there is a connection between the theory of financial law and the topic of the dissertation work.
Syllabus
  • The specific focus of the course may differ with respect to the topic of the dissertation. Therefore, the specific content will always be specified in the agreement between the supervisor and the student so that the content framework is aimed at writing a quality dissertation in sections focused on the theoretical aspects of legal regulation of public financial activities. Performance evaluation will be up to the trainer who will award the evaluation. However, it is expected that the student will consult the material with other representatives of the relevant fields and areas. The syllabus can be formed, for example, by the following areas:
  • - the link between the topic of the dissertation and the theory of financial law;
  • - the effects of legal regulation on public financial activity;
  • - principles of financial law theory in the field of dissertation work;
  • - apod.

Teaching methods
The basic teaching method is individual consultations, both with the supervisor and with other staff of the departments and experts working in the field of the dissertation.
Assessment methods
The assessment is entered by the instructor on the basis of meeting the pre-agreed content specified in the ISP. Usually, it will be, on the one hand, the elaboration of a comprehensive part of the dissertation devoted to the researched matter from the economic point of view or also from the point of view of administrative science.
