Course objectives
The course focuses on the matters of a special part of administrative law. The course provides knowledge of basic legal regulation, organization, and basic terms, institutes, and specific features of procedures in chosen sectors of public administration in the field of internal matters, security, and defense, economic, and cultural-educational matters. In addition, the aim of the subject is to build on and further develop knowledge from the so-called general part of administrative law and previous taught subjects.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the students who have succeeded:
- have knowledge of administrative law coming from its general and special part;
- have the necessary knowledge about the legal framework of public administration in its organizational and functional concept.
- have knowledge about basic legal regulation and basic terms, institutes, and procedures in chosen public administration sectors in internal matters, security and defense, economic, and cultural-educational matters.

Teaching methods
The lectures are focused on a basic approach to the issue, both in general and specifically. The lectures approach the given area as comprehensively as possible, in terms of organization, substantive law, procedural and criminal matters. Seminars are used to further practice and understand the content of the legislation. They include discussion in the classroom, preparation of tasks and examples and their presentation in the seminar, self-study of literature presented in the interactive axis. The seminar teaching will continuously test the students' knowledge and understanding of the material discussed.
Assessment methods
Teaching in the semester is completed, in relation to participation and performance of tasks in seminars, by an oral attendance examination. This is a comprehensive examination of the subjects MP615Z, MP719Z and MP811Zk. The student draws 2 questions with the understanding that if one is graded fail, he/she fails the entire exam. One question is directed at the so-called general part of administrative law. The second question concerns the so-called special part of administrative law. The student must demonstrate orientation in the field of administrative law, acquisition of basic concepts and institutes, as well as basic orientation in key regulations of administrative law.
