- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is the participation in the international competition Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to: understand the international commercial arbitration and international sale of goods and their legal regulation (especially CISG and UNCITRAL Model Law); work with the legal case in the form of arbitration file; analyse business case involving sale of goods and international commercial arbitration; make reasoned arguments on behalf of the involved parties; present the legal arguments in the moot pleadings in front of the arbitration tribunal.
- Syllabus
- Introduction to the oral presentation in the arbitration proceedings. Training pleadings at the Faculty of Law. ¨ Pre-moots in various Czech and European universities. Competition final pleadings in Vienna.
