- Course objectives
- The detailed and specific objectives of the subject always depend on the requirement for professional practice abroad, with emphasis on the applicability of knowledge and skills in tuition at the sending (sending) institution. The prerequisite is to deepen the knowledge, skills and attitudes corresponding to the studied clinical subject of the study program - see the Learning Agreement for exact specifications.
- Learning outcomes
- The specific learning outcomes correspond to the requirements set in the given subject and study program and are specified with regard to the year of study and the acquired knowledge, skills and attitudes. Detailed and clear learning outcomes have to be concretized and approved by teachers/tutors and mentors from the sending and receiving institutions and the student.

- Teaching methods
- Practice abroad is mostly organized as a one to one mentoring teaching in the clinical practice of a health facility or research center. Includes workshops, debriefing, supervision, routine provision of health care interventions and experimental activities.
- Assessment methods
- The evaluation methods depend on the agreement established by the sending and receiving institutions and agreed by the student. They include a written test, an essay, a practical exam. The form of assessment must be specified in the Learning Agreement
