Course objectives
At the end of these lectures collection a student will be able to understand normative spectacle correction terms. The student defines their hierarchy, correction plan and goals. The student characterizes anatomical, esthetical and optical parameters for spectacle completing from their basic components and their adaptation in relation to given anatomical and physiological proportions of the future user. The student categorizes also static of the spectacle, conditions for maintaining appropriate comfort by their wearing and applies knowledge from branch of elasticity and solidity on their conception.

At the end of these lectures collection a student will be able to understand normative spectacle correction terms. The student defines their hierarchy, correction plan and goals.
Syllabus
  • Spectacle lenses, theirs distribution, measure, specification and signs
  • Optical complex of glasses and human pair eyes
  • Requirements on the centering of spectacle lenses
  • Bending of glasses centre
  • Respecting of axial position of corrective spectacle lenses before eye
  • Systematic adjustment and adaptation of glasses
