Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide information for the elaboration of a bachelor's thesis: - The student will be acquainted with appropriate research tools for the elaboration of a research plan. - The student will be acquainted with the ethical aspects in the implementation of the research plan. - The student will be acquainted with the possibilities of how to interpret the obtained data. - The student will be acquainted with the requirements of how to prepare a discussion, conclusion and recommendations for practice.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to interpret the obtained data with respect to the chosen research tool. The student will be able to compare the obtained data with retrieved literary sources. The student will be able to process a discussion and conclusion. The student will be able to define recommendations for practice.
Syllabus
  • - Ethical and legal aspects, citation style. - Interpretation of obtained data - according to the chosen research tool. - Discussion, conclusion, recommendations for practice - according to the chosen research tool. - Formal and content processing - text proofreading. - Minimization of the most common errors in the elaboration of a bachelor's thesis.

Teaching methods
- interactive lecture with the provision of methodological materials - discussion of specific steps in the elaboration of the bachelor's thesis - home study
Assessment methods
The student submits the processed theoretical part by the end of December, including the incorporation of citations into the template of the bachelor's thesis. As of 31 January, it is finalizing the topic of a bachelor's thesis in Czech and English in IS MUNI. Credit is awarded by the supervisor / consultant of the bachelor's thesis.
