Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the formal requirements for writing a thesis, adherence to publication ethics, and proper citation of sources. As part of this course, students will also be introduced to the preparation of a presentation for the thesis defense.
Learning outcomes
The student will: - know the requirements for the elaboration and structure of the thesis - be able to formulate the objectives, research questions and hypotheses of the thesis - know the possibilities of using information sources for the elaboration of the thesis, including the interpretation of ethical aspects - be able to independently search for specialist sources - be able to present the results of their work and discuss them professionally
Syllabus
  • - Thesis structure, timetable and formal processing. - Searching for available scientific sources relevant to the given topic of the DP. - Ethical aspects of the thesis, citation ethics. - Creation of the text, annotation, abstract and testimonial. - Presentation skills: principles of making presentations. - Independent student presentations and professional discussion.

Assessment methods
Credit is awarded after completion of the assignments, completion of the presentation and active participation in the seminar. Attendance at all seminars is compulsory.
