Syllabus
  • I. General dermatology:
  • 1. Structure and basic functions of the skin.
  • 2. General a ethiology and pathologz of skin diseases (inflamation, types of hypersenzitivity, proliferation and neoplasia, functional disorders).
  • 3. Natural history in skin diseases.
  • 4. Findings and description in skin diseases.
  • 5. Laboratory methods in skin disorders (microbiology, mycology, histopathology, allergology, functional tests, immunophenotyping etc.).
  • 6. Therapy of skin diseases (topical treatment, systemic treatmnetdiet, phototherapy). II. Special dermatology:
  • 1. Physical causes of skin diseases - mechanical, termic, chemical causes.
  • 2. Skin infections - bacterial, fungal, viral, parasitic and types of cutaneous and mucocutaneous tuberculosis.
  • 3. Eczema and dermatitis - allergic contact dermatitis, eczema microbiale, atopic eczema, seborrhoic eczema, professional eczema.
  • 4. Urticaria, oedema Ouincke, drug exanthemas, erythema exudativum multiforme.
  • 5. Skin and autoimunity: a) blistering autoimmune diseases (pemphigus vulgaris, pemphigoid dermatitis herpetiformis), connective tissue autoimmune disorders (erythematodes, scleroderma, dermatomyositis and periarteritis nodosa).
  • 6. Genodermatoses disorders of development of the skin, ichtyosis, metabolic disorders, naevi.
  • 7. Disorders of keratinistation - psoriasis, pityriasis rubra pilaris, lichen planus.
  • 8. Disorders of macro and microcirculation, hemorrhagy.
  • 9. Hair disorders (alopecia, defluviium, hypertrichosis), nail unit disorders, diseases of sebacous glands and folicles (acne, rosacea, dermatitis perioralis), diseases of sweat glands.
  • 10. Dermatooncology - benign and malign skin tumours, preconditions of tumour - actinic keratosis, cutaneous horn, lymphomas, skin paraneoplasia.
  • 11. Dermadroms - skin symptoms in visceral organs involvement.
  • III. Venerology:
  • 1. Investigations in venerology - microscopy, culture in Neisseria gonorrhoe, treponemas in black in field microscopy, serological investigation in syphilis.
  • 2. Venereal diseases - syphilis, gonorrhoea, ulcus molle, lymphogranuloma venereum.
  • 3. AIDS - transmission, clinic, defence against AIDS in hospitals etc..
  • 4. Sexually transmitted diseases.
