- Course objectives
- Main objectives of the course:
The aim of instruction in the course is acquisition of the body of knowledge on the structure of both passive and active locomotive apparatus. In the course of instruction, the students will get acquainted with the structure and functions of individual parts of the human skeleton; emphasis will be laid on the comprehension and practical utilisation of the knowledge about the structure of joints and basic mechanics of motion in articular junctions, as well as on the comprehension and practical utilisation of the knowledge about the structure of skeletal muscles and basic mechanics of the movement of groups of muscles and of individual muscles. - Syllabus
- 1. Introduction to the anatomy, instructions to the study, excursion to the Anatomical museum.
- 2. Terminology, planes and directions on the human body, anatomical radiography, general osteology.
- 3. Bones of the vertebral column and the thorax.
- 4. Skeleton of the upper extremity.
- 5. Skeleton of the lower extremity.
- 6. Survey of skull bones (neurocranium).
- 7. Survey of skull bones (splanchnocranium).
- 8. The skull as a whole, cavities of the skull, temporomandibular joint.
- 9. General arthrology, joints of the spine and thorax.
- 10. General myology. Masticatory and facial muscles.
- 11. Muscles of the neck, back, thorax and abdomen.
- 12. Joints of the upper extremity I. Muscles of the upper extremity I.
- 13. Joints of the upper extremity II. Muscles of the upper extremity II.
- 14. Joints of the lower extremity I. Muscles of the lower extremity I., credits.
